25 centuries is approximately how long the Caddo and their culture have been around in one form or another. That's over 2,000 years longer than the Unites States has been around. One of our ancestor's famous mound sites is as important as the pyramids in Egypt. Before the Spanish came to this country we were one of the largest, most productive, and most influential civilizations between the Rockies and the Mississippi. The Caddo's ceramic tradition along with the Pueblos was the most beautiful, the most skilled, and the most sought after in the entire land. I am dedicating this web site to the discovery of Caddo Pottery, its history and culture, past and present.
