Caddo Mounds Cooking Bowl

17" wide
Hand Dug clay from the Red River, mixed with mussel shell temper,  thick walled cooking vessel, hand built, pitfired, fully functional cooking pot. It's first use was to cook walnut and corn in the Caddo grasshouse for the first time in more than 800 years.  (survived the tornado)
