Nah-ka-kah-hi-yoo: Disc above

This piece is titled 'Nah-ka-kah' Hi'yoo: Disc Above'. Coiled from hand dug clay from the Red River tempered with freshwater mussel shell and pitfired the old way. This piece not only shows the variety of ancient traditional Caddo shaped and forms, but also is the inspiration vessel to the UFO discs in my new Indigenous futurism pieces that present these ancient forms in a new light.
